Kier Lord is a Boston based comic artist and writer. They will graduate from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in 2026 with a BFA in illustration and a creative writing minor. They have created designs for Sow True Seeds and the Reading Municipal Light Department. They have also tabled at the Massart Zine Fair and other comics shows.
Kier's work primarily focuses on water and gender, or some combination of the two. He has a focus in making scientific and educational resources, and loves to take very boring documents and turn them into comics. When not drawing comics, Kier can be found at the YMCA lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons.
